One day, this body will cease. The breath will return to God, and the flesh will fade. This is the path of all form. But you are not the body, you are the awareness God placed within it, the living witness through which Christ is seen in experience. That knowing is not born of flesh, and it does not end with it. Death can touch what is temporary, but it cannot touch what is eternal in Christ. What you are was sent with purpose, clothed in form for a time, and when the body returns to dust, what is of God remains in God.
Death can touch the body, but not the one who truly knows. You descended with purpose. And when the body falls, you remain.
